Eagle Genomics to Discuss How Microbiome, Data and Network Science are Driving Food Innovation at Rethink 2022 Food-Tech and Agri-Tech Summits

Eagle Genomics’ CEO Anthony Finbow to discuss how to leverage the microbiome for agriculture, food and nutrition at three major events next week 

CAMBRIDGE, UK – 18 March 2022 – Eagle Genomics, the platform business pioneering the application of network science to biology, has announced that its CEO, Anthony Finbow, will be speaking at next week’s Rethink agri-tech and food-tech summits. At these events, he will cover how recent advances in microbiome research, including the application of network science, are helping companies to innovate around the next generation of food and agricultural approaches. The events take place at a time of increased recognition that the structure and functions of microbiota can enhance both food and nutrition as well as animal agriculture, while at the same time making improvements to critical areas such as veterinary health. 

Eagle Genomics’ CEO Anthony Finbow will reveal his insights at three key industry events – Animal AgTech on Monday, March 21, World Agri-Tech on Tuesday, March 22 and at Future Food-Tech on Thursday, March 24.  

• At Animal AgTech, Anthony will debate the issue “Transforming Animal Health: Innovation in Disease Prevention, Detection and Treatment,” reviewing how emerging technologies are improving the way those working with animals can make better predictions and decisions around animal health. He will also look at how our understanding of the microbiome is enabling us to develop solutions that could potentially reduce the need for growth stimulants, such as antibiotics. 
• At World Agri-tech, Anthony will be on a panel entitled “Microbials: Evolving the Biologicals Stack into Market-Ready Products,” on how our understanding of the microbiome has accelerated; how are we using this information to drive new product development; and where we are we seeing real commercial success. 
• At Future Food-Tech, Anthony will participate in a discussion on “Functional Ingredients: Creating Accessible and Nutrient-Dense Foods,” on why and how microbiome science has evolved over the last year; ingredients that promote gut wellness and their key benefits; and the technology platforms that are helping researchers discover and produce new functional ingredients.
