Eagle Genomics is pleased to announce that the company has achieved a CSA STAR Level 1 register listing for information security and data privacy. The Security, Trust, Assurance, and Risk (STAR) Registry is a Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) program particularly tailored to assess transparency, meticulous auditing and standards harmonization in cloud computing services.
The Registry is designed to systematically analyze all essential elements of the technology behind cloud supply chain implementation using the Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM). Companies are granted with this accreditation when 197 security assurance objectives across 17 domains covering all key aspects of cloud technology are met.
Eleanor Stanley, Data Governance and Information Security Manager at Eagle Genomics, said: “As a cloud-first organization, it is essential that we clearly demonstrate the alignment of our controls with the Cloud Controls Matrix to our current and potential customers. We are proud of our efforts to improve our cloud security position, seeking new ways to continuously refine our security controls.”
Eagle Genomics is also certified as compliant with ISO 27001, the global standard of best practice in information security management. This standard covers areas such as confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information, which are vital to business operations and secure handling of datasets. Eagle Genomics’ CSA STAR Level 1 register listing exemplifies adherence to security regulations and standards, and its continuous commitment to integrating and managing client and knowledge partner data safely in the cloud. Offering a strong foundation based upon world-class data standards, the company looks forward to continuing to deliver excellence in data security to both current and future clients and partners.
